(The Lord Our Righteousness)
Jeremiah 23:6
In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
| This powerful promise declares God’s faithfulness to His people and points to the coming of the Messiah. It assures us that under His rule there is salvation, safety, and restoration. The name “The Lord Our Righteousness” reminds us that true righteousness does not come from our own efforts, but from God Himself. Through Him, we are made right, covered by His grace, and able to live securely in His promises. |

Encountering God - El Roi: The God Who Sees Me
Genesis 16:13-14
El Roi is one of the most intimate and comforting names of God revealed in Scripture, emerging from a moment of profound human desperation and divine compassion. This name, meaning “The God Who Sees Me” or “The God of Seeing,” appears in the story of Hagar, Sarah’s Egyptian servant. Hagar found herself in an impossible situation—pregnant, mistreated, and fleeing into the wilderness. Cast out by her mistress Sarah and facing an uncertain future, she encountered the Angel of the Lord by a spring of water. In this divine encounter, God not only saw her physical location but understood her emotional and spiritual condition. El Roi reminds us that:
- God sees our circumstances when we feel invisible or forgotten
- God understands our pain even when others dismiss or overlook it
- God provides for us in our most desperate moments
- No one is too insignificant for God’s personal attention

(The Everlasting God or the Eternal God)
Genesis 21:32-33
“Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba. So Abimelech rose with Phichol, the commander of his army, and they returned to the land of the Philistines. Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.”
This passage highlights God as the Everlasting God, faithful through every season and generation. By planting a tamarisk tree and calling on the Lord, Abraham marked a place of peace, covenant, and lasting worship. It reminds us that God’s promises endure beyond circumstances, and our trust in Him can be rooted securely in His unchanging nature.

This beloved passage portrays the Lord as a caring Shepherd who lovingly provides, guides, and restores. It assures us that in His presence we lack nothing, finding peace, renewal, and right direction for our lives. Encountering God Through Testimonies
Testimonies can be powerful ways to share what God has done and is continuing to do in our lives. Sharing our testimony can lead a person to salvation, as well as healing and bringing us closer together.
This month we will hear some powerful and miraculous testimonies of how God has healed, delivered and saved.
Join us August 3rd and 17th to be encouraged by the testimonies that God can perform miracles in your life.
