The Howell Family

At Encountering God, we are committed to providing a space where individuals can experience God’s presence in a transformative way. Founded by Minister Mary Howell, this ministry was born out of her vision to help people grow into a closer, more intimate relationship with God.

Minister Mary Howell understands that ministry is a shared journey, and she is grateful to have the unwavering support of her husband, Greg, and their son, Kayden. Together, they serve as a family, united in their commitment to doing ministry and spreading God’s love.

Minister Mary Howell currently serves as an Associate Minister at First Baptist Church in Glendarden, MD, where she is deeply committed to meeting the needs of God’s people through dedicated service and ministry.

Through monthly prayer calls and dynamic events, we provide a welcoming space for spiritual growth, healing, and renewal. Our mission is to ignite hearts for God, inspire faith-driven action, and build a community where lives are transformed by divine encounters.

Inspired by Isaiah 60:1—“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, and the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you”—this ministry seeks to empower believers, strengthen faith, and build Christ-centered communities through intentional worship, prayer, and biblical teaching.
